Make sure your bin is accessible and empty on collection day

We won’t be able to clean your wheelie bin(s) if they haven’t been emptied or are locked away. Keep up-to-date with bin collection days and keep your bin accessible to us, either on the street or on your driveway etc. Our vans can be in operation until late evening so please be patient if we haven’t been, if you start to get worried, contact us using the above details. The only other times we won’t be able to clean your bin(s) are if there are large amounts of wet paint or motor oil inside them.

Use the provided bin liners correctly

Correctly using the bin liner(s) we provide inside your wheelie bin(s) can help contain waste and prevent direct contact with the bin’s surfaces. This not only makes it easier to dispose of waste but also helps to keep your bin(s) clean. If you have signed up for a regular service, the bin liner(s) should always be loosened from your bin(s) before collection, ensuring that it goes into the truck along with all the waste. You will be provided with new bin liners after every clean, reducing the chances of any lingering odours, pests & stains.

Seal all organic waste in plastic bags

One of the most important steps in keeping your wheelie bin fresh is to ensure waste that is likely to decompose and begin to smell is placed in sealed bags. This includes items such as food, animal waste & damp material By doing this, you prevent the buildup of odours and bacteria, ensuring that your bin stays fresh between professional cleans.
